EA History Recorder™
The EA History Recorder™ is a Palm application that integrates with a Windows® based desktop application to allow the poll judge to record voter history at the polling place. The Palm application has the same user interface, or "look", as the Election Assistant™, but you can also select a voter by touching their name with a finger when they have voted. Once you touch a person’s name to show they have voted, a warning screen pops up to ask "Has this person voted?". The poll judge selects "yes" with their finger and they are off to the next voter. All of this is done in the time it takes to sign the poll book.
Once the election is over you can then transfer the voter history from the palms into the EA History Recorder™ desktop application. The desktop application will then search and flag any duplicate voters. It will tell you what time the person voted, their voter ID number, and which polling place they voted in.
After reviewing the voter history the EA History Recorder™ desktop application will then import the voter history data into your voter registration system. This can be done in one of two ways, either by creating a batch file that can be imported into your voter registration system or the EA History Recorder™ can trick your voter registration system into thinking you are scanning in the data. It is compatible with ANY voter registration system.
