Voter Search
Poll judges can search complete countywide voter registration records by last name and date of birth. The search results include: first and last name, street address, name of polling place, voter status, and two additional lines of data from your voter registration system as determined by your county’s unique needs (i.e. voter id number, ballot type, polling place address, etc.).
Street Search
Poll judges can search for a polling place by a voter's street name, address, and zip code. The search results provide the name of the polling place and precinct number for that particular street address to direct each voter to his or her proper polling place, virtually eliminating provisional ballots.

Both of these questions can be answered at any polling place without ever picking up a phone when utilizing the Election Assistant™. Virtually eliminate provisional ballots
Provisional ballots are largely due to voters being at the wrong polling place. Many times voters visit a polling place and discover they are not in the poll book. Then, the poll judge usually tries to contact Election Central via telephone to see if the person is registered to vote and if so where he or she’s polling place is located. If the phone line is busy the poll judge will offer a provisional ballot to the voter. With deployment of the Election Assistant™ the voter could have been directed to the proper polling place and had cast a ballot. Additionally in many states a provisional does not count unless cast at the correct polling place.
In other states it is required by law to direct a voter to the proper polling place.
Shorten lines at the polling place
Lines at the polling place are due to lack of information. People waiting in line at the polls often do not know if they are registered to vote, in the correct line, or at the correct polling place. With the Election Assistant™ you can canvass the lines before they even get to the poll book to answer all of these questions. Most searches only take a couple of seconds per voter. You will find a large majority of the voters waiting in line are either not registered to vote, in the wrong line, or at the wrong polling place.
